Chanel always knew that she wanted to break into the entertainment industry. Growing up, her father worked as a DJ in New York City, and when he performed at nightclubs, he let her tag along. She also took singing and dancing lessons, and eventually, her love for Tupac Shakur inspired her to chase her dream of becoming a rapper.
